How Blox Exciter Works

Saturation

Three Characters, One Drive Knob

Choose a warm, vintage amplifier style saturation that compresses gently and adds rounded harmonics. A soft, gradual character eases off the attack for a more forgiving feel. Or go firmer and more aggressive, with a harder hit and a brighter edge. One Drive knob pushes any of the three modes.

Soft Character

Hysteresis And Bias Shape Its Memory

Hysteresis softens the attack for a smoother, more vintage feel, and Bias leans the saturation to one side, trading a rounder low end for extra edge and bite.

Air

Air That Never Flattens The Transient

The air stage generates high frequency harmonics in parallel with the whole drive path, so it adds sheen without touching the signal’s dynamics. It stays out of the way until you want it, and it’s safe to push even when Drive is set conservatively.

Tone Shaping

Shape The Tone Before It Saturates

Tilt applies up to ±6 dB of mirrored low/high shaping around 1 kHz to the signal before it reaches the saturation and air stages. Tilt dark to push denser low end weight into the drive, or bright to pull more edge and sizzle out of the same setting.

Mix

Dial It In, Compare It Instantly

Mix blends the dry signal back in, so the same setting covers everything from a light polish to full parallel saturation. Output trims the result to match levels, and bypass drops back to dry for an instant before and after check.
